Following the Government’s announcement that Dental Practices could re-open in June, we are now back working.

We have put into place extra measures to keep our patients and staff safe.

It is likely to be some time before dental services return to what was normal pre COVID.

We no longer use our waiting rooms and some types of treatment may be limited or not available for a while.

What will your appointments be like?

If you call to make an appointment you will be asked some screening questions.  You will be asked those same questions again the day before you attend when we confirm your appointment and on the day of your appointment.  Please be patient with the staff, this is a requirement set for all dental practices across the UK.

You will have your temperature taken and be asked to use hand sanitizer or to wash your hands when you arrive. If your temperature is above 37.8 you will be asked to re-book your appointment.

You will be asked to stay in your car until your appointment time or wait outside the practice.  Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes before your appointment and be prepared for any weather whilst you are waiting.  You WILL NOT be able to use our waiting rooms.

You will also notice that the staff are wearing PPE at all times.

If you have hearing difficulties please make us aware so that we can put it on your notes and try to make our communication with you easier.  There are apps that you may be able to use but it has to be on your own phone for confidentiality purposes.

Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients.  You may be limited for a while with your appointment time options. Please be patient.

You may find our surgeries are colder than normal due to air changes required for us to work and the extra PPE may make our staff very hot.  Please put extra layers of clothing on if you do get cold.

How you can help;-

With the exception of children and persons in need, patients should attend on their own.

A distance of 2 metres must be observed if another patient is present in the practice.  Please remove your face covering as you enter the practice.
